An Easy Rockin Sunday With Entrance, The Donkeys, Mountain Goats, and Wilco

"Prayer of Death" by freak folk/psychedelic/blues artist Entrance (Guy Blakeslee) is the title track off of his latest album. It's said to be based on The Tibetan Book of The Dead. "Prayer of Death" is a sparse and haunting ballad about confronting death in a positive manner.

Next up, I have The Donkeys, a San Diego based band, with a sweet little mid tempo rocker, "In The Morning."

"Woke Up New" is the first single off of The Mountain Goats latest long player, Get Lonely. It's a nice compliment to "In The Morning" offering a different take on the a.m. hours.

Closing out today's Easy Rockin Sunday is Wilco's cover of the Big Star classic "Thirteen." It can be found on the Big Star tribute album Big Star Small World.
