Black Mountain Shreds Live on Pitchfork TV

There's nothing quite like a Black Mountain show, unless that something includes big bong hits in your basement and your old man's Pink Floyd records. Then, that something's pretty damn close to the live experience. Really, the only things missing from Black Mountain's live performance captured by Pitchfork TV, are the lava lamps, smoke, black light posters, and the overwhelming smell of Lysol, spayed in vain to cover up your teenage tomfoolery. Oh yeah, don't do drugs.

saw these guys in nashville a few months back. i've always loved Amber's voice, but i was surprised that she is also quite the looker (sans the highly unflattering hippie moo-moo she was wearing that night).

don't think these close up shots do justice to the band's live performance skills, but still these vids are cool
